This marina proved to be a bit of a challenge with the short
and narrow finger docks and a 3 foot tide.
First time and hopefully the last time I almost fell in the water while
trying to get on the boat. Guess I have
to grow longer legs! We managed to get
groceries using the courtesy bikes the marina provided (one speed, no brakes,
well used, up and down a hill) since we did not think it wise to try to manoeuver
our bikes on and off the boat. Whew,
made it two days in a row to Publix since the bikes were not equipped with baskets
and we only had one backpack to carry all our provisions. Well, we won’t starve now as we continue our
journey.
