Well here we are – up a creek without a
paddle, so to speak! We are travelling
up the Caloosahatchee River on our way to Owl Creek Boat Works where final
preparations will be made to leave Terrmar on the hard for the summer
months. This is an isolated inland spot,
perfect for hurricane protection. It is
definitely a working boat yard without the usual amenities of a full service
marina. We are greeted by one of the
alligators who make this creek his home.
Better make sure Smudge stays clear! It is a pretty spot and very quiet in the
evenings, deserted except for one employee who makes his nightly security
checks. Sleep well Terrmar, sweet dreams
– see you in the fall!
